Meet Your Therapist

First of all, I want you to know that I understand how unnerving it can be to take that step to decide to start therapy. It was hard for me the first time, too. And yet, as scary as it can be to begin that journey, the relief and hope that you can find along the way makes it worth it.

The relief people often feel after the first session, realizing that there is hope, that someone understands them, that therapy can really help, often leaves them wondering why they waited so long.

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist. I earned my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) in 1999 from the University of Denver's Graduate School of Professional Psychology. My B.A. is from Vassar College.

I have experienced being both a stay-at-home mother and a working mother and I understand the challenges and joys of both.

When you change the way you look at things the things you look at change
~ Wayne Dyer

As a psychologist, I use my clinical skills and expertise, combined with personal experiences gained from motherhood, marriage, divorce and life to help you listen to your instincts, find your own voice, and create the changes you desire in your life.

I have worked with clients of all ages since I became a therapist over 20 years ago, helping people with many different life issues. I utilize a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from a wide variety of modalities to help you as my client move from where you are to where you want to be.

Contact me at 303-378-0501 or laurabgoldner@gmail.com and let's talk about how I can help you get back on track.

Meet Henry!

"Our therapy assistant"

Henry is our "un-official"therapy dog! Many of my patients enjoy having Henry in the room next them. They find his presence soothing while talking about difficult subjects. If for any reason you do not prefer to have Henry in the room, please let me know.
